I also standardize terminology and capitalization so your key terms stay consistent throughout, check your in-text citations, and clarify attribution wherever it is ambiguous. When your reference list needs it, I reformat it by hand, entry by entry, into APA, MLA, or Chicago style.
What I handle, and what I don't
I take care of line editing, citations, reference lists, tables of contents, and lists of figures. I do not do overall page layout or image placement; for full document design, I recommend your institution's formatting guide or a design specialist.
I also want to be honest about timing. I do not accept rush dissertation line edits when a committee deadline is only weeks away. A thorough edit of a full dissertation takes twenty or more hours of focused work, and rushing it would not serve you. Please reach out as early as you can so we can plan properly.
